The helmet's design that extends over the ears offers significantly more safety in the event of side impacts compared to a half-shell helmet. Additionally, EPP is used in the rear area of the helmet, a multi-density material that retains its protective properties even after multiple impacts. The fixed visor directs airflow into the large ventilation channels of the Root Mips, cooling the head. The Root Mips features an adjustable fitting system to perfectly customize the helmet to your head. It also allows for the use of a neck brace.
