Our unique lens technology QuattroVarioflex, developed by Alpina, provides winter sports enthusiasts with significantly better visibility. The specially tinted lens in ruby-red reduces the blue component of visible light. This enhances contrasts in the snow, allowing for quicker and better perception of the surroundings. Thanks to the lens's brightening effect, contours and the texture of the slope are more easily recognized even in poor weather conditions (snowfall, fog, diffuse light). A built-in polarizing filter of the highest optical quality completes the Quattroflex effect: distracting scattered and glare light is filtered out, further enhancing contrast. Reflections and glare are minimized, making ice surfaces and hazardous situations much more visible and easier to detect. Combined with Varioflex technology, which automatically adjusts the lenses according to weather conditions, the visor achieves a maximum range of use. The photochromic lenses react to visible light. When exposed to light, chemical elements "open" and create a darkening effect over the entire surface. As light intensity decreases, the chemical elements close, and the lens becomes lighter again. This process occurs in a matter of seconds.
