An afternoon ski day that is not unusual: The slope, which was still nicely ridged and grippy in the morning, now resembles a mogul run, with ice patches lurking underneath and the sun hanging low in the sky. Falls are unfortunately common here. Therefore, it is important to protect what needs to be protected. While a helmet is now mandatory, only a few skiers wear a protector. However, it replaces a layer of clothing, is breathable and comfortable to wear, and protects the spine from more serious injuries. With Proshield, Alpina raises the standard for entry-level protectors to a new level. Protectors are intended to become the norm while skiing.
