The developers at Alpina, in collaboration with lavalan, a Bavarian wool production near Dinkelsbühl, have created something unique: Prolan. Wool that protects. Not just from cold, unpleasant odors, or plastic in the ocean. Prolan is sheep wool that has been processed in such a way that its cushioning properties exceed the functionality of conventional protectors. What sounds incredible at first has been verified in numerous tests and confirmed by TÜV. The new Alpina protector with Prolan meets the standard 1621-2 Level 1. Prolan is an innovation that has not been seen in the sports industry for a long time.
