Like the big brother: The Carapax JR. is inspired by the adult model and promises optimal protection in the terrain for all young mountain bikers. Its lightweight design comes from the Inmold manufacturing process, where the outer shell is thermally bonded with the Hi-EPS. This results in a solid surface connection that contributes to a very stable construction. The lower edge of the helmet is protected by an additional polycarbonate shell called Edge Protect. Additionally, the back and temples are extended downward for maximum safety on rough trails, providing even greater head coverage. Large ventilation openings ensure optimal airflow, while insect mesh keeps bugs away from the head, and the visor offers excellent protection in the field of vision. With the Run System Classic, which is combined with the height-adjustable Custom Fit, the bike helmet can be adjusted to fit the head. Optionally, the Carapax JR. can be equipped with the Multi-Fit Light for improved visibility.
