The low weight of the Carapax 2.0 is achieved through Inmold manufacturing, where the outer shell is thermally bonded with the Hi-EPS. This results in a solid surface connection that is responsible for a very stable construction. The lower edge of the helmet is protected by an additional polycarbonate shell called Edge Protect. Thanks to the Seamless Connection, it fits seamlessly to the outer shell. For maximum safety on rough trails, the back and the temples are extended downwards, allowing for even greater head coverage. Large ventilation openings ensure optimal airflow, fly nets keep insects away from the head, and the height-adjustable visor provides optimal protection in the field of vision.
