The MTB helmet from Alpina impresses with its easy adjustability and high wearing comfort. Even though it is equipped with mips, it shows high acceleration values in the drop test.
The Apax Mips is an all-rounder in the off-road sector and is one of the lightest helmets in its category. The Run System Ergo Flex in combination with Hi-EPS and Mips ensures maximum comfort and safety. The adjustment system impresses with its filigree design and fixes the helmet evenly to the head over a 360-degree circumference. There is no more individual, smooth and comfortable way to adjust a bike helmet. Another plus for comfort: the removable padding. It always feels comfortable to wear - no matter how hot the terrain gets. The low weight of the Apax Mips is due to the inmould production, in which the upper shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS. This results in a firm surface connection, which is responsible for a very stable construction. The lower edge of the helmet is protected by another polycarbonate shell. Thanks to the seamless connection, it moulds seamlessly to the upper shell. For maximum safety on rough trails, the rear and the temple area are pulled further down. This creates even greater head coverage. In the event of a fall with an angled impact, Mips is designed to help reduce the rotational forces acting on the head. Large ventilation openings enable optimum ventilation, fly screens keep insects away from the head and the height-adjustable shield guarantees additional protection in the field of vision.
