The Tengu GTX by Aku is a partially crampon-compatible mountain boot that is waterproof thanks to its Gore-Tex lining. The boot offers a combination of a grippy Vibram sole and an Aku exoskeleton midsole, providing stability during regular trekking and hiking as well as in climbing sections, allowing for precise foot placement. The upper material is a blend of polyamide, suede leather, and Air8000+. The boot is fully protected by a surrounding rubber rand and a toe cap.
