Down-Country is primarily about: climbing quickly, descending quickly, and repeating. The Moventor 2.0 MIPS is nearly perfect for the needs of mountain bikers. This MTB helmet is lightweight, well-ventilated, and features a deeper fit that provides more protection at the back of the head. When the trail points downward, the ten air inlets and nine air outlets ensure good ventilation. In addition to the many thoughtful features for off-road use, the MIPS model includes impact protection. This is designed to protect the brain, especially when a cyclist falls and hits their head at an angle. In such cases, the brain is subjected to strong rotational movements that can lead to severe brain injuries. The MIPS system incorporates a movable low-friction plastic shell within the helmet, which helps to reduce rotation and better protect the head.
