The name Steel-O-Flex from Abus stands for cable locks with high flexibility and double security. The steel cable is surrounded by overlapping sleeves made of hardened steel, reminiscent of scale armor. This significantly increases resistance to break-in attempts while only moderately increasing weight and largely maintaining flexibility.
