With its special design, the ABUS CityChain 6800 chain lock offers a reliable security solution for bicycles. The lock consists of a 6 mm thick square chain made of hardened steel, which presents potential thieves with a difficult task. At the same time, a textile sleeve protects the bike from unsightly scratches to the paintwork. The practical handling of the chain lock is characterised by the reversible key, which makes it easy to open thanks to its double-sided entry option. Thanks to the clever automatic cylinder, a key is not required for locking - simply inserting the locking bolt is enough. The lock is supplied with two keys. Designed without a special holder, the lock can be easily wrapped around the seat post and thus offers convenient and flexible transport for everyday use. With an ABUS security level of 5, the chain lock is particularly suitable for areas with a low to medium risk of theft.
