What exactly does the "tumble dryer function" mean? I'm looking for an appliance with a heating function, but I can't filter by that here. Is that what it means?
Hello Andreas, the laundry drying function basically means nothing other than that the dehumidifier switches to maximum ventilation and continuous dehumidification mode.
This function is also available, for example, in this Wood's brand appliance: Wood's MDK21.
Regarding the question with heating: This is not easy to implement in the current energy debate. The built-in heating would always have to be based on electricity. As far as I know, there are no household dehumidifiers that have such a built-in heater. As an alternative, I can recommend the WDD80, also from Wood's brand. It works on the adsorption principle and generates much more heat during the drying process than a compressor dehumidifier. Wood's WDD80
