We had a blue insert.
It comes with a small blue plastic insert, but it is completely useless because it is not leak-proof at all. This means that the liquid main detergent slowly flows under the leaky insert during the pre-wash. This means that practically no more detergent is added during the main wash. This means that main wash is only possible with powder if the pre-wash programme is selected first.
Well yes, that's what I do and it works very well. :)
