Meaning. Teflon is a brandname. Permadur is a brandname. Both are brandnames for the same underlying material or chemical. Do we know that Permadur is different from Teflon in how it interacts with our cells? No. Do we know that Permadur will not vaporise somehow like Teflon and we ingest the fumes when we cook and the fumes dissolve into our foods? No. So... whatever the name of the coating, permadur or telfon, i think it is the same old same old... Answer - stick to boring grandma type cooking utensils.
