Is this air purifier actually operated with an ioniser? Does this emit ozone?

No.

Hepa filter and activated carbon (removes ozone according to Wikipedia) in combination with electrostatic (not ionisation). This produces very good filter performance. Here is more information: https://www.blueair.com/ch...
