Question about Magimix Cs 4200 XL
I would be very interested in this machine. The description says "mixing + chopping, shredding + cutting, fruit preparation, stirring + kneading, cereal preparation", but I don't see a blade for chopping in the accessories, and this is exactly the most important function for me in a food processor (along with shredding). So how should I understand the "chopping" function? And while I'm at it, what is "cereal preparation"?
The machine chops wonderfully, it has 2 knives large and small for chopping in the large or small cup. In the description it is described as a 'multi-purpose knife'. I sometimes use the knife to chop nuts or something, I have never tried it with soft things like onions or tomatoes. I use the multi-purpose knife most often for making hummus, run it for 5' and the hummus is perfectly velvety. Hope this helps...
