I recently received my Berkel and am really happy, except for one thing: the plate that holds the cutting material is extremely sticky, probably from the glue of a protective film that was stuck on it. Does anyone have a tip on how I can easily get rid of this glue?

There are 2 possibilities: Either with stain remover from the pharmacy or with Potz Expert sticker remover from Migros.

We don't have that problem. Is the film completely gone? I would try pure alcohol (80%), which I also use to clean the knife.
