Question about SodaStream Glass carafe
I have the Philips model. Does anyone know if these glass bottles might be compatible?
I don't know, but I suspect that they don't fit, because they don't fit all Sodastream appliances either. When filling with CO2, a gas-tight connection must be made, and if the size is not exactly right, it will never be tight.
A Sodastream no longer costs the earth, if you really want glass bottles, then it's worth buying a new one, as the CO2 bottles are usually the same. I think the glass bottle is hygienically perfect and also lasts longer than the ugly plastic bottles.
