It does not - as all other listed accessories for the Multiquick 9. Well you can attach and operate it, but it does not click in properly.
Just was in contact with Braun Switzerland yesterday about the same issue with the MQ 40 (ice crusher) and my Multiquick 9. What you can do is call the Braun Switzerland hotline and order the corresponding lid (or cap?) from them. They do not have an online shop as of now. The price for the lid for the MQ 40 was 12.- plus 8.- for shipment. That's even better than in the German  Braun store. But there you can at least browse through ALL of the accessories. Search for 4200 (= Multiquick 9) in the search field to find everything that is compatible .

I bought both and although the "motor" seems to not perfectly fit on top, they work really good together.
