I have a threshold of approx. 3.5 cm at the doors to the rooms at home, can the robot get over it?

Rather not. 2cm is possible, but not always the first time. I very much doubt that almost double that is possible. According to the manufacturer, only up to 22mm is possible. At 3.5cm you have to use the X50. According to the manufacturer, it should be able to do 4.2cm and up to 6cm with a double step.
