The Dreame X50 Ultra Complete can use basic functions without Wi-Fi as it has physical buttons for control. However, a Wi-Fi connection is required for full functionality (cleaning schedules, voice control, app settings) as these features are controlled via the app or smart home systems such as Alexa/Google Assistant.

Important details:
- Physical buttons: Start/stop and return to the charging station are possible directly on the robot.
- Limitations: No cleaning schedules, no app control and no voice commands (via Alexa/Siri/etc.) work without Wi-Fi.
- Network requirements: The device requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi - in case of connection problems, check the signal strength (-42 dB in one test case).

If you do not have WLAN, manual control via the device buttons is still possible, but many automation functions are not available.
