I cannot set the CO dehumidifier mode. I don't understand how I can click through all the settings and then hold on to the right one. It runs like this now, but it must be in AP filter mode because there is never any water in the tank. I don't think I understand the instructions in the user manual.

Press the up and down arrow keys until the desired % number appears in the display. For example, 60%. Then the display jumps back to the measured ambient humidity.

Hello, I don't think I will be able to help much more in this case.
 The CO mode should be easily selectable via the arrow key. Switchable from AP/CO.
As explained in the unit description.
If this does not work, I would send the unit for repair as soon as possible. Something seems to be wrong with the control or the compressor.
Otherwise, we are very satisfied with our model. Good workmanship and very efficient.

The "CO mode" comes when you press the "down arrow key" several times. Below 30% if I remember correctly.  Just play around with it until you get what you want.
