Question about Philips Series 2000 AC2887/10

I bought this device about 2 months ago and have always been very satisfied. But for a few days now, the 2.5 display has always shown 500 and is full blast. Also for several hours.... Pre-filter already cleaned and otherwise no errors.... Is the device defective?
