Question about Hoooked Zpagetti

I don't understand the question, 5 or 8. I worked the yarn with crochet hook no.12 (knitting needle size 12).
But be careful: I have already bought balls of the same colour whose quality was quite different and which I could not work on the same item. The yarns were either soft (thin tricot) or firmer and thicker (sweatshirt fabric).

I knit this yarn with knitting needle no. 10. It is like a tube, so it is hollow in the middle and about 7mm wide.
