How does the blender relate to the well-known Vitamix? Is it a Swiss distribution of the original or is it an imitation?

Unfortunately, it is a copy. In my opinion, a rather cheap one. The motor is relatively strong, which is the positive thing, but also the only thing. According to the instructions, the blender jug must not get wet on the underside, otherwise the base material will be damaged, whatever that is... The blender is also extremely loud. Furthermore, I find the timer solution more than cheap. Only solved via a mechanical clock (like an egg timer), which still ticks even when the appliance has been switched off (nothing "intelligent" as it is advertised). The motor control is not exactly a hit either, it audibly does not have a constant speed. I was also very surprised by the many spelling mistakes, both in the instructions and in the recipe book. Another unpleasant detail: the rubber feet leave marks. Every time I pull the appliance over our kitchen cover or mix tougher ingredients and the blender vibrates, it leaves black "skid marks" on our cover. But the most disappointing thing about the whole thing was: I wanted to return the appliance after receiving it without having used it (instructions bad, egg timer mechanics and base material / wetness problem were decisive enough), but Galaxus did not accept this even after repeated enquiries. They took the position that a blender would not be taken back, although according to the declaration a conditional right of return would apply, which was also decisive for me. First, they told me that they considered the blender to be a hygiene item (?!?), because that would be excluded under the conditional return policy. After they had to admit that a blender is not a hygiene item, they justified the rejection by saying that appliances for food preparation would be listed under "no right of return" and would therefore not be taken back, even though the item is declared as a "conditional right of return". Conclusion: Both the blender and the Galaxus customer service ---.

Of course, the Vitamaster is a copy, but whether the original is significantly better is questionable. And whether the much higher price is worth it is even more so!

The Vitamaster does what it is supposed to do very well. The smoothies are creamy and it also mixes coarse ingredients reliably fine. It passed the avocado stone test without any problems! Nevertheless, I only give the Vitamaster 7 out of 10 points: The motor control is - at least with my Super Expert Pro - not linear. The maximum speed is already reached at about half way (wrong potentiometer installed?). At least in the beginning, the control did not let the motor start smoothly. But now it runs correctly. Once I had to tighten the screw of the driver on the engine block. No big deal, but a drop of Loctite wouldn't have hurt. The rubber feet can leave marks. Not tragic, but not perfect either! Of course, the Vitamaster is loud, but that should be the case with all PowerMixers - even much more expensive ones with similar power. And there's a simple reason why you shouldn't leave the blender jar in water for any length of time: the blade shaft runs in a ball bearing. Although this is (necessarily) sealed, it is not and cannot be completely waterproof. So all in all, no serious points! In any case, I expect the unit to provide many years of reliable use. And if something breaks, the Swiss importer is not far away! In any case, I don't regret buying this device!

It's a very good machine with a powerful motor that chops everything. Price-performance ratio is great. Highly recommended.

Hello, we bought the appliance 5 months ago and are very satisfied with it. As far as I know, the appliance is a little louder than the Vitamix. But the performance seems to be a bit better (speed). Otherwise, the two machines are very similar. The blades are very sharp. We use the appliance every day for soups, smoothies, nut milks, etc. and I can highly recommend buying it. The price/performance ratio is convincing.

Hello. We bought the blender at Galaxus 3 months ago and use it every day. We are very satisfied and 2 colleagues also bought it on our recommendation. It is not a copy, but the Swiss distributor of the original. So it is effectively the same device, but at a much lower price. We compared other models in Switzerland. For this price, you get the best blender with great performance at Galaxus. Especially for vegetable smoothies, the high speed and the good blades are very important. We also make our own almond milk with raw almonds. This only works if the blender grinds the almonds really well. Have fun with the blender....
