Hello Can I operate the appliance manually with the sensor switched off? Then also with timer. I don't want a radio connection or beams.

As far as I know, you always need the app and WiFi for the timer functions. At least for setting up.

My appliance is also not connected to WiFi, but it works perfectly. The automatic function works and so does the manual control (I don't use the timer).
