Question about Singer Heavy Duty 4423
Hello, I have just received the machine. The "minimum speed" is very fast. You can't sew slowly with the pedal. Is that normal? Can this be changed somehow?

I have this machine with the same problem..... (I have been sewing for 50 years).
On the foot pedal, on the underside, there is a round 3mm hole with + and - marked.
I took a small screwdriver and turned the screw at the bottom of the hole all the way to + .
And lo and behold: I can finally sew normally....uff......I would have sold the machine otherwise....It's an imposition that there's nothing in the operating instructions about this.
