Don't worry, the running time will be shorter. I also use one in the laundry room (approx. 16m2). Very practical in winter, also for drying clothes more cheaply.

The dehumidifier will reach the desired target humidity all the faster. My cellar has approx. 25m2. It is better to oversize the dehumidifier a little.
I am very satisfied with the device and the laundry is dry within a short time.
