The robot hoover recognises obstacles, including those such as stairs, thanks to advanced navigation technology with dToF and RGBD sensors that prevent falls and collisions. It can overcome obstacles up to 22 mm high, such as thresholds or skirting boards, but cannot climb or descend stairs automatically.
As for use in a multi-storey house, it can be used on several floors, but the robot cannot move independently between floors; you will have to transport it manually from one floor to another. Moreover, thanks to intelligent mapping, it can store multiple maps to manage multiple floors efficiently.
So, yes, the robot avoids stairs and can be used in houses with several floors, but the transition between floors must be done manually.
