Good day, I am about to buy a Roborock S7, but I still have some questions. I hope that one or two of them can be answered by the community. - Is there a fall protection (recognising a staircase)? - Is it necessary to fill the water tank with cleaning agent? - Can the rubber roller be easily removed for cleaning? - Can it be used on floors where the charging station is not located? - How long does it take to clean a 20 square metre room? - Does it work without the app?
In principle, the answers are correct, but all Roborock hoovers can also be used without the app, because it is sufficient to simply press the Clean button on the device. The robot hoover then starts cleaning the home and then returns to the docking station.
However, you need the app for firmware updates and also to edit the maps or to programme the hoover so that it not only cleans the flat but can also do this every day, for example.
Roborock s7 does not connect to the network. WLAN strength, password, correct device ..... all checked exactly and several times. However, the connection always fails. What could be the cause?

- Can it be used on floors where the charging station is not located? YES, just move it to the floor "from outlet to outlet".
- How long does it take to clean a 20 square meter room? ~max 1/2 hour. This depends on the setting of the suction and washing force.
- Can it work without the associated application? NO, only with the app on the mobile.
