For some pans, not all, of this series (Montreux), the specification under "Pan properties" says "aluminium" under coating. Some say "uncoated".
Is this a mistake and, if not, what should I think of a stainless steel pan with an aluminium coating? What does this mean?

I now have 3 pans from the Montreux series (different diameters) and they are solid chrome steel. I've never read about an aluminium coating, and I can't imagine what that would be like. But the best thing to do - if you are unsure - would be to ask Kuhn-Rikon yourself!
