Does this fit into the original wall-mounted charger? (e.g. are the dimensions exactly the same or will I have to charge it with the cable?)
Yes, that fits.
Replacing the battery is quick and easy, remove the Dyson from the wall bracket, loosen the screws, pull out the old battery, insert the new battery, tighten the screws and then return the Dyson to the wall bracket :-)
