Do you need the app or do you have all the functions on the remote control? If not, which ones?
You don't need the app, everything is on the remote control.
Except perhaps the Auto+ (AI) mode, which is available in the app. I haven't tried that.

Everything goes through the app. It's well designed. Super practical and easy to install.
