Do you have to screw the base to the floor where it is or can you just put it on the floor like that? The storage room with the toilet connection has a parquet floor, which I shouldn't damage because it's a rented flat... Merci!
Necessary according to instructions, but I have also left it alone and no problems so far (with a current Miele WM). The base is basically an extension of the washing machine feet, and is screwed firmly to the WM instead of the normal feet.
No, it is not necessary. However, the base should be horizontal in both directions and should not wobble under any circumstances!
