Question about Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact
Can this air purifier be used to clean or purify the air in the bedroom so that the windows can remain closed? The issue is that it would otherwise become stuffy and there would be too much CO₂ and too little oxygen.

No. Bedrooms need to be aired out by opening the window. This air filter will filter particles from the air. It does nothing for the composition of the air in your room. No filter will do what you are suggesting.

No, all air purifiers of this type only remove airborne particles (dust, pollen, smoke, etc.), but they do not re-oxygenate stale (inhaled) air. Airing the room three times a day is essential - unless it is a modern building with built-in, controlled ventilation.
Tip: If the door to the bedroom is left open all the way or at least two hands, the air that is breathed in will circulate throughout the entire flat. This means that you still have acceptable oxygen levels for sleeping during the night.
