Air purifiers should meet a certain standard: The filters must be at least class H13/H14. Does this air purifier meet these criteria? I can't find anything about it in the technical data and on the Philips website this is unfortunately only answered by the marketing department: The NanoProtect S3 filter captures 99.97% of 0.3 µm particles, including common allergens, dust, dirt, bacteria and some viruses.
Hello Roland, the air purifier works with a HEPA filter which fulfils the class H13/H14.
As you mentioned, filters are standardised in Europe and are classified in filter classes 1-17. A high number indicates a high filtering capacity of the smallest particles. HEPA filters fall into filter class 13 or 14.
