Question about Stadler Form Albert little

According to Stadler, Alberts that always switch on the defrost mode despite a room temperature of over 10° must go to a specialist dealer for repair. Has anyone ever repaired this themselves? Actually, the defrost function can be completely deactivated in my case, as it is always in operation in the basement at +- 20° anyway. Our Albert is about 5-6 years old now.
