Question about Roborock S7
1. do I understand correctly that you can set whether it should vacuum or damp clean? I don't want to damp-clean the parquet every time I clean. 2. what is the status of the emptying station? Is one really needed or is it a luxury? 3. where can I order the damp cloths? According to reviews and test reports this is really one of the best, always thought iRobot was the best.

It only picks up damp when you have clicked in the mop attachment and select "pick up" in the app. It also recognises carpets, for example, so that it does not pick up there.
I don't miss the suction device. I probably won't get one later either. If there are moist crumbs etc. in there, they collect in the device for weeks until the next emptying. I'd rather empty the container on the vacuum cleaner first...
You have a wiping cloth with you, which you attach to the wiper attachment, and you click the attachment onto the vacuum. So you don't need anything extra. Unless you want a second one when the other one is in the washing machine.
Ps. irobot failed completely in our comparisons, it can't do anything. 🙊😄

1) yes, exactly. you can predefine per room whether vacuuming or mopping or both. i have only activated vacuuming for parquet and both for the stone slabs. however, it only does mopping when the mop is on, otherwise it simply skips it. it's really clever! and you can set it to avoid carpets, for example, when the mop is active.
2) i still treat myself to the ststion, as it keeps everything much cleaner and more hygienic. besides, i don't feel like emptying the filter every 2 days.
