Bioplastics are made from renewable raw materials such as corn, sugarcane, and grains. The sugar from these plants is fermented and distilled, resulting in lactic acid (polylactic acids). Talcum powder is added to the lactic acid, causing it to crystallize. This creates a PLA that is more heat-resistant, known as C-PLA. C-PLA bioplastic products are suitable for everyday use: for example, brief heating in the microwave, and they are dishwasher-safe. The products are food-safe and free from artificial additives like BPA and Melamine. Also ideal for outdoor living.
