This is also true for the Aachen series. The mills are made of high-quality acrylic. All models feature a patented grinding mechanism made of high-performance ceramic. It is harder than steel, and moisture and essential oils cannot harm it. Zassenhaus offers a 25-year warranty on this. The grinding mechanism operates in two stages, carefully and thoroughly breaking down pepper, salt, dried herbs, and spices. The six grinding levels, from fine powder (1) to coarse (6), can be adjusted at the bottom of the mill. They are always readable on a scale and do not shift when filling the mills. Care tip: Occasionally grind some rice to keep the grinding mechanism from sticking.
