Yaxell TSUCHIMON Santoku large

Tsuchimon - This traditional name stands with this knife series for a swinging line management and the hammer blow optics in the upper range of the blade from high-quality 3-layer steel. On the stainless core layer of VG10 steel, which reaches 61 degrees Rockwell through a special hardening process, a layer of stainless steel was forged on both sides.
This allows a clean cut through the material to be cut. The black handle of this knife series is made of particularly hard-wearing polished linen micarta (an odourless mixture of linen and resin that is insensitive to cold and heat) in an elegant wood look. The handle elements are fastened with two rivets and a core of 18/10 stainless steel gives the knife additional stability.

The toggle and also the end cap, which features the Yaxell logo, are made of satin-finished 18/10 stainless steel.

The signature of Japanese master smiths is unmistakable in this classic knife, which makes light work of preparing meat and vegetables.
