Product details

A typical Asian blade shape is the Nakiri knife from the Super Gou 161 series by the Japanese manufacturer Yaxell. Eighty layers of stainless steel are forged onto a core of SG-2 steel. The very sharp blade, which has a bolster that slopes towards the handle, is complemented by a red-black handle made of durable linen micarta with a wood look, secured to the tang with three rivets. The knife is finished with a stainless steel 18/10 cap featuring the term "Gou," which provides additional stability.
