Product details

An increasingly popular Eastern knife style is the Kiritsuke. Originally developed as a sushi knife, it is versatile, especially for vegetable preparation. The Yaxell ZEN Kiritsuke features a core made of rust-resistant VG 10 steel, which is clad on both sides with 18 layers of rust-resistant carbon steel Damascus, resulting in a Damascus appearance with a total of 37 layers.

The part of the blade that extends towards the spine has a polished hammer finish, which stands out distinctly from the matte lines of the Damascus pattern towards the edge.

The handle is made from robust linen micarta with a wood-like appearance. The blade is secured in the handle with two stainless steel rivets.
