A classic in every kitchen is the chef's knife. The Yaxell chef's knife from the Super Gou 161 series features a finely crafted Damascus design on the blade, made from 80 layers of stainless carbon steel, which are applied on each side of the stainless core made of SG-2 high-performance steel. This results in a total of 161 layers with an impressive Rockwell hardness of 63 degrees. The handle is finished with a cap made of 18/10 stainless steel, providing additional stability. The handle is made from durable red-black linen micarta with a wood-like appearance and is secured with three stainless steel rivets.
