The Xiaomi kettle is smart in two ways. On one hand, it can be controlled via an app, and on the other hand, it can keep water warm for up to 12 hours. There are three different boiling modes. The first mode boils the water to 100 °C. The second does the same but allows the water to cool down to the desired temperature if preferred. Once the temperature is reached, the kettle notifies you via the app or with a gentle beep. The third and final option for heating water is quite simple: the water is heated directly to the desired temperature. The interior of the kettle is made of stainless steel, ensuring not only good thermal insulation but also keeping the water free from plastic.
