Wüsthof Santoku knife PERFORMER

The Wüsthof Performer Santoku knife features the typical Japanese blade shape and is versatile in its use. It is ideal for precise cutting tasks in the kitchen. Its kullenschliff (dimples) prevents thin and soft slices from sticking to the blade.

The blades of the Wüsthof Performer series are made from a single piece of chrome-molybdenum-vanadium steel (X50CrMoV15), are laser-etched on both sides, and are then coated with DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon). This diamond-like carbon layer gives the knives a surface hardness of 104 Rockwell and is ultra-hard. Thanks to the lotus effect, the blade glides effortlessly through any food. A standout feature is the unique and striking representation of the trident logo on the 17 cm long and 4.6 cm wide blade.

The DLC coating (Diamond-Like Carbon), an amorphous carbon layer, is three times harder than steel. It is resistant to acids, alkalis, and high temperatures. This carbon layer makes the Wüsthof Performer knife resistant, extremely scratch-resistant, and long-lasting.

The high-quality handle material of the Performer knives is made from glass-fiber reinforced polyamide, and thanks to the non-slip Hexagon Power Grip, the knife sits securely and comfortably in the hand.
