This technique creates a ribbed texture in the fabric. The ribbed pattern runs across the width of the fabric. Since it is a knitted fabric, it has bi-stretch properties, with the width of the fabric being more elastic than the length. The composition also includes elastane, which ensures that the fabric returns to its shape after stretching.
