Since its founding in 1853, the former Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik (now WMF Group GmbH) has been producing high-quality kitchen tools and household goods for private households, gastronomy, and hospitality. WMF's most famous achievement is the stainless steel Cromargan, which contains 18% chromium and 10% nickel, named for its high chromium content and silver-like appearance. Chromium makes the metal rust-resistant, while nickel provides acid resistance and shine. Both excellent design and reliable functionality are given significant importance in all developments, whether tableware, cutlery, pans, or other utensils. For WMF, not only eating and drinking are among life's incomparable moments of enjoyment, but also, or even more so, the preparation and cooking.
