With a steamer, cooking becomes a wellness experience. It enhances the ingredients' full flavor and takes the work out of cooking. It works quite simply: the steamer is a closed system for the stove. You fill a small amount of water or broth into the rectangular base and place the ingredients side by side on the steaming tray. A glass lid seals the small cooking space airtight, and the integrated thermometer reliably measures the temperature. Now you can take a break. The water starts to boil, and steam rises. Fish, meat, and vegetables are cooked without coming into contact with the water. Nothing burns or dries out, and the vitamins are largely preserved in the steam. With a porcelain insert, even flans and puddings can be made successfully. WMF steamers are made of stainless steel, feature cool handles, and have a TransTherm universal base. They are versatile and can be used as both a steamer and a roaster. The glass lid with a silicone rim prevents condensation from escaping. Easy to clean, flavor-neutral, and acid-resistant.
