The word casserole comes from the Latin term for ladle - as such, the handy pot with a handle was used for the goulash cannon, for example. Small dishes, milk and soups can be heated up quickly and conveniently in it. It is also practical for creams and puddings. While one hand holds the handle - the hollow handle does not heat up during cooking - the other guides the whisk in the pot. Sauces reduce in a saucepan over a low heat and are then poured onto the plates via the flared pouring rim without dripping. If something burns, residues can be easily removed from the base - thanks to the high-quality stainless steel or Silargan material. Of course, WMF casseroles can be put in the dishwasher and are suitable for all cookers, including induction. The saucepans are available with a bulbous or straight wall, with or without a lid and in diameters from 10 to 24 centimetres.
